Design

In this design, I wrote “I talked to spirits with Madame Zenobia in 1973”. This refers to the profession of the character Madame Zenobia who is a medium in the movie.

The design is a shot from the scene where Madame Zenobia (Elizabeth Donavan) and Marcia (Tina Russell) are performing the ecstatic dance in order to connect with Marcia’s deceased husband.

This shot was published in Playboy upon the release of the movie. Eduardo Cemano provided it to me so that I’d make a print of it. He cropped the image into a circle, according to the style of my other T-shirt designs, and added the film title written in this beautiful font.

The title is placed in a way that it covers the women’s breasts — to make the design less inappropriate for wearing the shirt in public.

Basically, I only painted the film title turquoise-purple gradient and added the text.
